People make fun of snoring.
Snorers are the object of many snoring jokes. They have become a laughing matter to many. An annoying loud snorer or a beautiful lady who makes deafening noises when sleeping is a turn off.
Some resort to practical jokes by recording the loud noise and playing it to a big crowd or putting weird stuff inside the opened mouth of the one who is sound asleep (pardon the pun).

As such, it is necessary to remind the snorer to aim for his or her ideal body weight, have a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
* Bad smoking habit
The smoke irritates the membranes on the throat. Such would result to a disruption of the normal oxygen intake that the body requires. If the snorer is a smoker, tell him to quit.
* Healthy lifestyle
The wholesome lifestyle would be beneficial to alleviate the problem of snoring. Avoiding pills would decrease the chances of the syndrome. It would be better to minimize on drinking alcohol. Be an avid motivator to the snorer.
* Sleeping habits
Sleeping positions can also affect your breathing. It is most advisable to sleep on your side or on your stomach if snoring occurs. Another effective way is to always have a regular sleep. Failure to do so could lead to development of respiratory problems and increasing the unsound breathing.
* Consult a physician
More often than not, the snoring is obvious but the cause is not. If certain steps had already been taken and the disorder persists, it would be best to set an appointment with an eye, ear, nose and throat doctor.
There is nothing wrong at all in laughing over snoring jokes. However you should properly discern when to properly laugh over a joke and when to seriously address a matter. Good health would actually make you enjoy more a hearty laughter.
